World Plumbing Day

Yes there is a day for you!

World Plumbing Day is on 11th March. It's an international event initiated by the World Plumbing Council to acknowledge the important role plumbing plays in the health and safety of a modern society.

When you have regular access to clean running water it is easy to take it for granted. That is until the system of delivering safe drinking water fails, like when there is a natural disaster.

And as history has shown, great leaps in civilisation have been tied to advances in plumbing.

If you're in Victoria, you are invited to a function to celebrate this event:

Tuesday, 11 March 2014
11.45am (for a 12.00pm start) – 3.00pm

Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre
