Plumbers Wanted in Victoria!

It seems there's a shortage of plumbers in Victoria.

The Victorian Department of Education & Training says there's a skills shortage in occupations in the Plumbers group including Airconditioning and Mechanical Services Plumber, Drainer(Aus), Gasfitter, Plumber (General) and Roof Plumber.

VDET says employment prospects for the next five years are strong and
this occupation needs more skilled workers to add to the 24,500 Plumbers already in Victoria.

So how does it pay?

The average weekly wage is $1,585.40.

Hourly earnings are $43.20.

Industries that employ Plumbers include Construction, Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services.

Most jobs are located in the Melbourne Metro area.
